We will be exploring two of France’s best known wine regions: the Loire Valley and the Rhone Valley. Both contain world-renowned areas of wine production, such as Sancerre and the iconic Chateauneuf du Pape, and include a fantastically diverse collection of sub-regions, created as the rivers snake their ways through France.
This diversity means they can offer something for everyone, from the comparatively lighter reds and whites of the Loire, to the full, spicy Syrahs and Viogniers of the Rhone Valley. Over the course of the evening we will taste a selection of classic styles and some more overlooked corners of these regions.
