Evening walk to look for chalk grassland flowers at East Pit

28th June at 7:30 pm9:30 pm

East Pit was quarried up until the early 1980s and is the largest of the three chalk pits at Cherry Hinton. Up until recently the site was largely covered with Buddleja, but this has been cleared through the work of the Wildlife Trust, helping chalk grassland plants to re-establish across the site. Come along for the evening to see some of the beautiful chalk grassland flowers that can be found at this reserve. Walk led by Cambridge Wildlife Trust committee members, Anita Joysey and Dave Seilly.

This event is free and donations would be most welcome.
