Through a public Health funded project (Let’s Get moving Cambridge) there will be some ‘Pickle in the Park’ sessions at Nightingale Park this summer. Pickleball is a game resembling tennis, in which players use short-handled bats to hit a perforated plastic ball over a net. Pickleball court markings (four courts on one tennis court) have been marked out on the Nightingale tennis courts.A coach is going to facilitate taster sessions. These will take place on a Tuesday 2 – 4pm and again on the Tuesday at 6:30pm – 8:30pm starting week commencing 21st August. We will be trialling this for 6 weeks and sessions will be free of charge.
