The Cambridge RSPB Members Group will be starting the new season of indoor meetings on Wednesday September 19th with a talk entitled “Swifts”.
Drew Lyness, Local Groups and Volunteering Support Officer for RSPB Eastern England, has a passion for Swifts which he will be sharing with us during an illustrated talk immediately after the groups AGM. He will also answer questions about this enigmatic bird, which was in very low numbers in the skies of Cambridge this year. All are welcome to this meeting, though only members of the Group may vote during the AGM – which should take between 15 and 30 minutes.
We meet in the Wilkinson Room of St Johns Church, Hills Road, Cambridge, CB2 8RN. The meeting will start promptly at 7.30pm, entrance free for members of the Group or £3 for non-members. More information can be found at www.rspb.org.uk/groups/cambridge
