Simon Munnery: Standing Still and Julian Cope (the week ahead at The Junction)

Comedian Simon Munnery presents Standing Still on Friday 27th January from 8pm in J2.

Multi award-winning comedian Simon Munnery offers up a new stand-up show. An opening to die for, seven wry observations, a tone poem, four fresh skits and two new commandments. Simon is a British Comedy Award nominee, Perrier Award nominee and Chortle Award winner. He’s a star of Comedy Central’s Alternative Comedy Experience – as seen on BBC2’s Culture Show and heard on Radio 4’s News Quiz, amongst others. Tickets are £13.50 and the show is suitable for children and adults ages 15 years and upwards. Box office and bar open at 7pm. Show starts at 8pm.

Julian Cope will be appearing live in J1 on Thursday 02 February from 7pm. With support from Tom Hickox

Julian Cope is a singer, poet, occultist and photographer who has enjoyed a 30-year career in the rock business, and is described by his Bloomsbury book publishers as a ‘visionary rock musician and musicologist, hip archaeologist and one-time front man of the Teardrop Explodes’. Tickets are £26 and all under 14’s must be accompanied by an adult. Box office and bar open at 7pm.
