Yianni  Agisilaou: The Simpsons Taught Me Everything I Know on Saturday 9th December in J3

Following critically acclaimed, total sell-out runs at Edinburgh, Melbourne, Sydney and Perth Comedy Festivals, Yianni Agisilaou brings his love letter to the world’s greatest TV show to Cambridge Junction.

Stories, facts, impersonations and more form a hilarious and cromulent look at a lifetime spent quoting, referencing and learning from The Simpsons, how the show has embiggened his life and how he almost became the replacement voice for Mr Burns and Smithers!

Whether you’re a Simpsons tragic, or just an everyday fan, it’ll be fun-diddly-un!  DOHn’t miss it! Tickets are £13.50 each. Audience suitable for ages 14 years and above.

Arty Farty Christmas Party on Wednesday 13th December in J3

Join us for a fun, festive gathering of the arts and culture sector, and to say goodbye to Daniel Brine.

A glass of Daniel Brine’s winter fruit champagne cocktail on arrival, festive buffet, party entertainments and special guests.

Tickets are FREE, but must be booked in advance. Under 14s must be accompanied by an adult.

A Winter Union on Wednesday 13th December at Emmanuel United Reform Church from 8pm

Six leading lights of the British roots scene join forces to create a festive folk band like no other.

Expect soaring harmonies and exquisite musicianship as the 6-piece blast through a repertoire of brand new, specially written songs, fresh arrangements of traditional carols both wellloved and little-known, and Christmas classics from both sides of the Atlantic.

Originally formed in 2015 for a one-off yuletide concert by members of The Willows, Hannah Sanders and Megson, A Winter Union returned in 2016 for more shows including London’s Cecil Sharp House and a live session on BBC Radio 3. This year brings the band’s first line-up change with BBC Folk Award nominees Gilmore & Roberts joining in place of Megson.

This year the new line-up will be releasing a single and EP to accompany the tour; the title of which is currently a closely guarded secret…

  • Jade Rhiannon – Vocals
  • Cliff Ward – Vocals, Banjo, Guitar, Fiddle
  • Katriona Gilmore – Vocals, Mandolin, Fiddle
  • Jamie Roberts – Vocals, Guitar
  • Hannah Sanders – Vocals, Guitar, Dulcimer, Autoharp
  • Ben Savage – Vocals, Dobro, Guitar

Tickets are £19.00.
