Last week the Queen Edith’s Community Forum held the first of two workshops, designed to get local people involved in shaping the future of our area over the next ten years or so. The second workshop is this Saturday, 3pm-5pm at Queen Edith’s Primary school on Godwin Way.
We will be continuing to explore and build on the ideas which came out of last week’s session along two broad themes of place and transport.
Everyone is welcome, both those who attended the first week and those who are coming along for the first time. We’d particularly like to get our younger residents involved. You don’t need any ‘expert’ knowledge to take part, we are the best experts on our own neighbourhood! However, we are very lucky to have Edward Leigh (Smarter Cambridge Transport) and Liz King (Liz King Architect) volunteering their time and perspectives on future trends and possibilities.
We hope this week will be as interactive and insightful as week one, and look forward to seeing you on Saturday. Refreshments will be available!
