On Thursday 20 April, over 50 local residents gathered to hear presentations from the four candidates to be Queen Edith’s next County Councillor. The evening was introduced by the Queen Edith’s Community Forum chair Sam Davies, and moderated by Queen Edith’s Community News editor Chris Rand. We were fortunate to have the services of local blogger and political analyst Antony Carpen to video the evening’s events, and you can watch what happened below.

Finally, the results of our exit poll. Did the evening change anybody’s minds? Not as significantly as last year. Maybe the candidates are getting more consistently polished!

- I had an idea of who I’d vote for beforehand, and I have changed my mind: 10%
- I didn’t know who I’d vote for beforehand, but I do now: 15%
