What’s the best pub in Cambridge?

The best pub in Cambridge, according to the Campaign for Real Ale, is the Queen Edith in Wulfstan Way.

Cambridge & District CAMRA awarded the venue its City Pub of the Year for 2022 as well as its overall Pub of the Year.

CAMRA writes:

“Congratulations to the Queen Edith on Wulfstan Way which was chosen as our 2022 City Pub of the Year and was also selected as our overall Pub of the Year. The Queen Edith will now go forward to the county round of judging. The presentation of their certificate will be on Wednesday 6 April.

“Congratulations to the Hare & Hounds in Harlton on being selected as our 2022 Cider Pub of the Year (and) to the Three Horseshoes in Stapleford on being selected as our 2022 Rural Pub of the Year.

“Congratulations also to the Champion of the Thames, King Street. It is Greene King’s Night of Excellence Beer Pub of the Year 2022. And also to the Portland Arms, Mitcham’s Corner, which won Best Entertainment Pub in the same awards.”
